Our Vision

Luke17 Ministries' vision is to have a Christ-centered discipleship center where anyone can come to the fullness of maturity in Christ Jesus through the Bible regardless of economic and financial status. We offer quality basic and college-level courses to any Christian seeking to grow spiritually and theologically in biblically rooted doctrine. We move within the biblical financial model of tithes, offerings, and gifts to the saints to financially support this ministry. Our conviction is that quality biblical discipleship should not be behind the door of mammon (money).

Luke17 Ministries believes that charging for discipleship, instead of following biblical financial models, does not line up with the Bible or the heart of God. Christ freely gave; and the veil was torn so that the Lord would be preached and the word of God taught without it being confined to a "for only $299.99 get access to a Bible course" model.

We desire that the Lord's biblical model of teaching them to obey all that Jesus commanded be honored by our ministry and its partners without charge. Our Heavenly Father famously said:

Matthew 17:5

"While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, 'This is my Son, whom I love; with Him, I am well pleased. Listen to Him!'”

Let us honor the Son as our Heavenly Father commanded us. Our Lord told us to go without charging.

Luke 9:3

He told them: “'Take nothing for the journey—no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt.'"

As The Head of the Church Jesus also told His church to go and make disciples without charging.

Matthew 28:18-20

"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'”

May the Lord Jesus use it to His glory, and much more may we honor our Heavenly Father so that it may be well with us and we live long in the land God has given us by obeying this mandate without charging for it. According to :

                                         Ephesians 6:2-3

“Honor your father and mother." This is the first commandment with a promise: If you honor your father and mother, “things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.”

 Matthew 23:9

"And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and He is in heaven."

Our vision is comprehensive, desiring to fulfill the mandates of Christ that His bride may be prepared and ready when He comes according to :

Revelation 19:7

"Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready."

Our heart posture to serve unabated is modeled after 

Luke 17:7-10

"Which of you whose servant comes in from plowing or shepherding in the field will say to him, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? Instead, won’t he tell him, ‘Prepare my meal and dress yourself to serve me while I eat and drink; and afterward you may eat and drink’? Does he thank the servant because he did what he was told? So you also, when you have done everything commanded of you, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’ ”

Luke17 Ministries earnestly desires to see many become full of the Word of God being able to rightly divide it, moving in the fullness of maturity of Christ and showing themselves approved unto God.
